Richard Wood - Candidate for Chairperson
Rich has been working with antenna systems and towers since 1979. His firsthand experience includes building multiple AM, FM and TV transmitter facilities. Testing and troubleshooting of these type of sites has taken him all over the US, doing on site work in 46 of the lower 48 states. Along with Broadcast project management and system testing, Rich also does Infrared testing of switch gear for many industries

Clif Groth - Candidate for Vice Chair
Clif lives in Watertown and started in radio in 1957. In 1964 became CE at Fort Atkinson and in 1965 started doing contract work. The contract business morphed into a VP job with Goetz Broadcasting in 1976. After the sale of Goetz to Marathon Media Clif was Director of Engineering. Later he became CE for Clear Channel, Madison. Currently "semi-retired", Clif is still working for Fort Atkinson and special broadcast FYI projects.

Mike Norton - Candidate for Secretary
Mike has been working in broadcasting for 24 years, starting as a disc jockey in college. He held positions as student technical operations director and station manager at WSUP-FM/Platteville. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University Wisconsin-Platteville, with a major in Broadcast Technology Management and a minor in graphic arts. He worked as a master control operator at WISN-TV/Milwaukee, and is currently a staff engineer at the Wisconsin Public Broadcasting Center.

He currently does electronic maintenance of radio and television equipment and satellite uplink systems, and works with encoding systems and IP networks. Mike has been an SBE member since 1992, was the SBE Chapter 24 newsletter editor from 1996 to 2006, and has previously served as SBE Chapter 24 Secretary from 2009-2012 and 2016-2017. He is certified at the CSTE and CBNE levels.
Roy Henn - Candidate for Treasurer
Roy Henn became Chief Engineer of WIFS Channel 57 in mid-2016 and joined the SBE shortly thereafter. He manages the Master Control department and supports their broadcast and IT operations. Previously he worked for 15 years at a local cable company while attending high school and UW Baraboo, working his way up from tech support, cable installation, broadband & IT technician, to manager of Cable & IT Operations before jumping into the broadcast industry. He looks forward to working in the broadcast industry for many years to come and will soon be taking his first SBE certification tests for CTO and CBNT.
